This feature ensures that your battery remains safeguarded against any potential damage caused by extremely cold temperatures. The low temperature cut-off protection for charging is set at 0°C ± 4°C (32°F ± 7.2°F), while for discharging, it is set at -20°C ± 4°C (-4°F ± 7.2°F).
For optimal charging of our LiFePO4 battery, we recommend using a lithium iron phosphate 4-string (14.6V) charger. This specific charger is designed to provide the appropriate voltage and charging characteristics for LiFePO4 batteries. However, if you prefer alternative charging methods, you can also utilize photovoltaic solar panels with an MPPT charger or an inverter with a built-in AC to DC charging function.
The BMS, or Battery Management System, plays a crucial role in the operation and safety of the LiFePO4 battery. It is responsible for various functions, including protecting the battery and the user from hazardous conditions such as low or high voltage, low or high temperatures, and short circuits. The BMS also ensures that all the cells within the battery pack remain balanced, allowing for optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, our BMS features a charge balancing function that reduces the charging rate for cells that have reached their capacity, enabling other cells to catch up and maintain the overall balance of the battery pack.
Our LiFePO4 lithium iron phosphate batteries have an impressive lifespan, providing a minimum of 5000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge (DoD). In more practical terms, this translates to a service life that is 8 to 10 times longer than standard lead-acid batteries. With proper care and usage, these batteries can serve you reliably for an extended period.
Regrettably, our LiFePO4 battery is not designed to be used for jump-starting vehicles. However, it can serve as a reliable power supply for automobiles. To recharge your car, you may connect it to the LiFePO4 battery using a Jackery power supply cord, which can be purchased separately.
